Looks like we get to see if MC can beat OJG again! They meet again in the loser's bracket on Thursday with the winner going forward and the loser going home.

I'm not from either team either, but, get sick of seeing all of the "experts" put kids down because the game didn't fit into their spouting off about what should have happened. Should OJG have won? Probably. But, they didn't play well enough to get the job done. At the same time, the MC team did what they needed to in order to get the W. They worked hard and capitalized on the OJG mistakes. It's just that simple. We don't need to slam the kids in order to understand it.

I don't understand why you think half of the team had to be sick, or half of the other team didn't play. Isn't that why teams actuall play the games? In District 3 playoffs, anything can happen on any given day, in any given game. Today, the MC Wolves were the better team after 3 periods were played. Play the game again tomorrow, maybe things are different. But, there is no tomorrow and there are no second chances. Congratulations Wolves for coming to the rink and playing hard and believing you could win. Isn't that what youth hockey is all about???

Somebody needs to explain this..... half of OJG sick or half of MC Wolves sitting on the bench not playing?
