Day 1: District 4 Quarterfinals

So who says Novi, KV Renegades and Redford can't play with the big boys? All three Yzerman teams were pushed in a night of surprises.

Novi matched the Michigan Outlaws goal for goal until the Outlaws scored in the final minutes of the third period to pull ahead 4-3. Novi worked hard, bottled up the Outlaws defensive zone and chipped in goals when the opportunities arose.

While the Kensington Valley Renegades also worked hard to tie the Birmingham Rangers. Birmingham scored in the opening period to take a 1-0 lead. The teams played to a scoreless second and most of the third. The Renegades finally scored half-way through the third and killed a late penalty to finish the game with the 1-1 tie.

The Kensington Valley Rebels also needed 3 periods to outscore the Redford Royals. a third period goal gave the Rebels the 3-2 win.

Could MAHA's district 4 be the strongest district from top to bottom this season?
